Is your horse sweating properly this summer?

Anhidrosis (sometimes also referred to as "dry coat") in horses that do not sweat normally and are unable to sweat enough during competition or athletic training. It is an Iodine and L- Tyrosine pellet that helps support normal thyroid function. It will help support normal endocrine, hormonal and enzyme systems, and a normal metabolic rate. Supporting equine thermoregulation is very important in maintaining a healthy body temperature to allow the animal to perform at its best.

Horses labeled as “non sweaters” usually have noticeable symptoms such as:

  • increased heart rate
  • increased blood pressure
  • increased respiration
  • dryness, scaling, itching and/or balding or hair coat

It is important to keep body temperature normal to avoid hyperthermia. Our product, Sweat More, is designed to combat Anhidrosis to help alleviate these conditions in your horse.

If you have further questions about anhidrosis and how Sweat More can help, please don't hesitate to contact us. We'd love to talk to you!
